We are excited to give a warm welcome and heartfelt thank you to Spirit of Math Scarborough East for supporting our 2026 Fun Fair! Their generous donation will help make this year's event even more memorable for our students, families, and community members. Contributions from community partners like Spirit of Math play an important role in helping us create a fun, inclusive, and engaging experience for everyone who attends. We are especially grateful that their support brings us one step closer to achieving our annual fundraising goal of $10,000. Thank you, Spirit of Math, for investing in our school community and helping us make a positive difference in the lives of our students. We are proud to have you as part of our 2026 Fun Fair and look forward to celebrating with you!

For over 30 years, Spirit of Math has been redefining what it means to challenge high-performing students. It began in a small Toronto classroom in 1970, where teacher Charles Ledger responded to his Grade 8 students’ struggles with algebra by creating a unique curriculum focused on foundational numeracy. His approach not only strengthened core skills but elevated learning well beyond the norm. Zion Heights Junior High soon became a math powerhouse, winning numerous provincial and national competitions. What began as a single class has grown into a global community of learners, a system proven to spark curiosity, confidence, and collaboration. With a rigorous curriculum and expertly trained educators, Spirit of Math continues to prepare students not just for higher grades, but for leadership and lifelong success.
Our number #1 goal is to bring community together to have fun while raising funds, helping to support our kids and their educational needs. We believe that every child deserves the tools required to elevate their learning process, and we need your help to make sure every child gets what they need to succeed. As the success of the Miller Fun Fair continues to grow each year, we are pleased to offer the opportunity to impact the students on an even bigger scale.
The Miller Advisory Council is the powerhouse behind many of the experiences that make William G. Miller Public School shine.
From exciting school trips, hands-on learning, Wellness Week, creative arts, special activity days, and upgraded play and learning spaces, MAC turns great ideas into real student experiences. Powered by family support, fun, and community-building events, MAC brings energy, opportunity, and a little extra magic to school life. When MAC is involved, school isn’t just attended — it’s experienced.
This year alone, MAC has already raised thousands of dollars through community-favourite fundraisers like Fresh From the Farm, Terra Cotta Cookies, student art projects, and fun lunch days — and we’re just getting started. These funds are already approved to support school trips, Wellness Week, upgraded classroom technology, graduation celebrations, enhanced recess equipment, arts programming, special elective days, and high-energy activities like Jungle Sport. With even bigger goals ahead, MAC continues working to ensure every student enjoys engaging, inclusive, and memorable school experiences.
Why Support MAC?
MAC turns community support into real opportunities.
Every fundraiser fuels experiences that build confidence, creativity, connection, wellness, and school spirit. Supporting MAC means helping students explore beyond the classroom, celebrate milestones, stay active, and feel included. When families support MAC, they’re not just fundraising — they’re investing in moments students remember long after the school year ends.
The 2026 funfair is no different, so let's make this the best year yet and show our community what William G Miller is all about.

Based out of Mississauga, Eur3ka is a trio band blending indie pop, folk, and groove into a sound built on feel and chemistry. Ellie McKenzie, Jason Wilson, and Alexander Bella share an equal role in writing and arranging, shaping songs together from the ground up. McKenzie contributes vocals, keys, and acoustic guitar, Wilson adds vocals, keys, and acoustic guitar, and Bella brings electric guitar and vocals, adding unique textures to the group’s sound. Their music moves between warm harmonies, rhythmic pockets, and reflective songwriting, with a natural, slightly unpredictable energy that keeps things alive in the moment.
